Overture
Overture Networks is leading the transformation to Carrier Ethernet services and infrastructure at the network edge. Starting with the broadest range of best-in-class products, we develop and manufacture efficient, high-value Carrier Ethernet edge and aggregation solutions that help service providers multiply revenues and streamline operational costs. We offer features, flexibility and consistent customer experiences from 1Mbps to 10Gbps over any transport infrastructure – including fiber, copper and TDM. Our end-to-end solutions address service provider pain points in business services, high-performance mobile and broadband backhaul, cloud and data center services, fractional 10GE services and Ethernet transport infrastructure applications.
The company’s recent merger with Hatteras Networks brings a step change in scale for the new Overture. With an expanded, globally available base of quality products and solutions, Overture offers customers a single supplier for all of their Carrier Ethernet needs.
Overture is uniquely positioned to support service providers and network operators that want to expand Ethernet service into enterprises, small and medium-size businesses and even the most remote offices and mobile base stations – all without regard to the access medium. Our solutions are easy to deploy, manage and maintain, reducing the time needed for customers to experience a return on their initial investment. Additionally, Overture’s extensive onboard counters, real-time SLAs and throughput measurements give service providers the necessary tools to differentiate their own services and offer a superior customer experience.
SOLUTIONS
Ethernet-over-Copper
Leverage existing copper infrastructure to deliver enhanced services alongside traditional services while reducing operating expenses.
Ethernet-over-TDM
Ethernet over bonded T1’s, E1’s and DS3’s.
Psuedowire+ or PWE3-Plus
Send native Ethernet and native TDM across the same bonded pipe (TDM over Ethernet). TDM retains all the characteristics of a T1 (delay, jitter, timing), and is especially critical for Mobile Backhaul requirements.
Mobile Backhaul
Last mile connection to cell towers, typically providing up to 100 Mbps services carrying both Ethernet AND TDM.
